Open to Grade 11 or 12 students
Introduces students to the ancient tradition of yoga in its various forms and styles. Focused on using breath paired with movement to improve mind/body awareness and connection. With its vast capacity to bring vibrant health to body, mind, and emotion, the main outcome of this course is to develop healthy relationships with self, others, and the earth.
Students will explore the fundamentals of yoga through a combination of physical practice, personal reflection, partner exercises, theory, breathing techniques, and meditation.
